How to use E-Weather

When you receive an Hourly E-Weather product from SkyBit (email or fax) , the top of the form will look like the example below:

Information is provided on the current date, where the form originated, who the email or fax is being sent to, and what the product is.


The information below is a sample of how the rest of the form will look.  Information is given indicating the state, county and the location of the site.

Let's break this down by sections

hrhour.gif (293 bytes) This begins with 1 AM = 01 of the day indicated and goes through 12 PM (24)

hrdataty.gif (372 bytes) 01 = Climatology
02 = Observation
03 = Forecast
04 = Outlook
99 = Missing

hrtemp.gif (320 bytes) Temperature for the indicated hour in degrees Fahrenheit

hrrelh.gif (364 bytes) Relative Humidity for the indicated hour in percent

hrprec.gif (360 bytes) Precipitation amount for the indicated hour in inches

hrlwet.gif (343 bytes) Leaf wetting hours for the indicated hour

hrwspd.gif (395 bytes) Wind speed in miles per hour for the indicated hour

hrsolrad.gif (415 bytes) Amount of solar radiation in langleys
